Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern access to and use of the LegaKeep service, a family digital vault, published by MEMOPYK, EURL, SIRET 990 228 736 00015.

2. Service description

• Scan, store, and organize administrative documents
• Encrypt documents end-to-end (zero-knowledge architecture)
• Share documents via time-limited secure links
• Manage a family household with roles and permissions
• Set up emergency access for trusted contacts
• Receive document expiry alerts
• Access a guide for life events

3. Registration and account

Users must be at least 16 years old and provide a valid email address.

The vault key is your sole access to the vault. MEMOPYK cannot recover, reset, or access it. If you lose both the vault key and recovery key, your encrypted documents are permanently inaccessible.

4. Encryption and liability

Documents are encrypted on the device before transmission. MEMOPYK has no technical access to stored document content and cannot provide it to third parties, including authorities.

5. Legal value

A natively digital document retains its original value (Art. 1366 French Civil Code). A digital copy of a paper document is a backup copy - the paper original must be kept (Art. 1379).

6. Termination

Users may delete their account at any time (Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete my account). Deletion results in permanent erasure of all personal data and encrypted documents.

7. Limitation of liability

MEMOPYK shall not be liable for document loss resulting from loss of the vault key and recovery key.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cahors.
